We publish here the homily delivered in Toronto by the Archbishop, Cardinal Frank Leo, at the Chrism Mass. It is a profound meditation, rich in valuable insights for priestly life. In his address, the Cardinal also referred to Cardinal Alfredo Ildefonso Schuster, recalling that he had received one of his rochets as a gift and that he has long kept a crozier which once belonged to him. He invoked him in order to offer priests an essential reminder: people are converted above all by the witness of a credible life, even before they are moved by preaching.

Maundy Thursday. Cardinal Leo on Blessed Schuster: “In the presence of holiness, people still believe, kneel and pray.”
