Pope Leo XIV unmasks Campisi’s manoeuvres: donations commission axed

With the chirograph “Vinculum unitatis et caritatis”, dated 29 September and made public today, the Pope suppresses the Commissio de donationibus pro Sancta Sede, annuls the statute and acts of the body promoted by Roberto Campisi while Francis was in hospital, and brings Vatican fundraising back under the control of the Council for the Economy and the Secretariat for the Economy, disproving attempts to manipulate him in the first months of his pontificate.
